Mary is the Digital Media Manager for Young Survival Coalition, an organization dedicated to the critical issues unique to young adults affected by breast cancer. After spending time in the hospitality and for-profit industries, she shifted focus to use her marketing knowledge to build out YSC's work in the digital space. She manages all communication campaigns and marketing projects for YSC, monitors engagement across all social and digital platforms, and oversees the maintenance of YSC's website, which is the primary platform for disseminating YSC resources to young adults affected by breast cancer.
Danny Mendoza
Founder and CEO @Together We Rise
Danny Mendoza is the Founder and CEO of Together We Rise, a non-profit organization that focuses on transforming the way children and teens experience the foster care system. His passion to make an impact in the foster community was sparked in 2008 when his 9 year old cousin was living in a car. Now, over 12 years later, Danny has led his organization toward impacting over 400,000 foster youth in the United States through various programs and experiences. In 2019 Danny founded Techether, a technology arm of Together We Rise, which aims to offer simplified communication applications for social workers and the families they serve. Danny has been recognized as a social innovator and a voice for children in foster care.
Michael Armstrong
Nonprofit Program Manager @Asana
Michael is a Nonprofit Program Manager at Asana, a leading work management platform for teams. Michael’s work at Asana has spanned global operations, nonprofit solutions development, community establishment, partner relations, and the creation of the Asana Advisors (a pro-bono skills based employee volunteering program). Prior to Asana, Michael was as a teacher and co-founded a sustainable travel company in Montreal, Canada.
